Pillar Data Systems Joins The Green Grid Initiative to Address Importance of Storage Efficiency
San Jose, Calif. – April 16, 2007– Pillar Data Systems, a leading provider of enterprise network storage systems, today announced that the company has joined The Green Grid consortium. As part of the collaboration, Pillar will aid in driving the IT industry forward in delivering more efficient technologies to help lower energy and space costs and improve data center efficiency.
The Green Grid is comprised of an interactive body of members who share and improve current best practices around data center efficiency. The consortium’s scope includes collaboration with end users and government organizations worldwide to ensure that each organizational goal is aligned with both developers and users of data center technology.
